These are the terms you agree to when you use PlutoPrice. We've tried to keep them short and honest. Read them; if anything seems off, email info@plutoprice.co.uk before signing up.
PlutoPrice ("we", "us") is a software service based in the United Kingdom. It lets tradespeople ("you") draft, send, and manage customer quotes using AI assistance and your own price book.
You must be at least 18 years old and using PlutoPrice in connection with a trade or business. PlutoPrice is not designed for consumer use.
You agree not to:
If you do, we may suspend or terminate your account.
You own your price book, your quotes, and your customer data. We host them on your behalf to make the service work.
By using the AI drafting feature, you grant us a limited licence to send your job descriptions and price book item names to our AI provider (OpenAI) for the sole purpose of generating quote drafts for you. We don't train any AI on your data, and neither does OpenAI on data sent via their API.
Quote drafts produced by PlutoPrice's AI are drafts, not finished quotes. You are responsible for reviewing every line, every quantity, and every price before sending a quote to a customer. AI makes mistakes; the buck stops with you.
When a customer accepts a quote, the binding contract is between you and your customer. PlutoPrice is the tool, not a party to that contract.
We aim for high uptime but we don't promise 100%. Things break sometimes — hosting providers go down, APIs fail, deploys go wrong. If PlutoPrice is unavailable, you can still contact your customers and deliver work; we'll fix it as fast as we can.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of PlutoPrice is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive losses — including loss of profit, lost customers, or business interruption.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud.
This doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer (if applicable) under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using PlutoPrice, you agree to those terms too.
If we materially change these terms, we'll email registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
